Founded in 2003 as a nonprofit organization by Dr. Jinshik Gene Chung, the Wesley Youth Orchestra provides young musicians throughout the greater Los Angeles area with opportunities to learn, grow, and perform through orchestral music.
Our mission is to provide high-quality music education and meaningful performing arts experiences that inspire young students to discover the world of music and the arts, develop their musicianship through ensemble training, and grow together as young musicians.
At the heart of our program are two closely connected goals: to provide students with quality music education and ensemble training, and to bring these young musicians together as an orchestra, where they can share their musical growth through public performances and enrich the community through the power of music.
